Mexican Hot Chocolate with Dates
  • 2 Cups of Milk or Dairy Free Beverage of Choice
  • 6 Natural Delights Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1 Tbsp. Cacao Powder
  • ¼ tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. of Chili Powder (we used Arbol Chili Powder)
  • Whipped Cream and sprinkled cocoa powder and cinnamon stick or your favorite toppings!
Directions
In a medium pot, add milk and dates and simmer until milk is hot and slightly bubbling. Transfer milk and dates to high-speed blender and add, cacao powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and chili powder and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into mug and top with a cinnamon stick and your favorite toppings!
